We are experts in manufacturing vinegar from natural sources. We have been doing it on a small scale for our own consumption using our own household microbial culture.
In 2021, it was included as one of JNP’s products. Brewing is still done in the same traditional process and using the same family microbial culture.
Benefits of vinegar
The first noticeable result of using our vinegar is an improvement in the digestive system.
Hyperacidity, flatulence, indigestion, uneasiness after meals, excessive gas formation and constipation are generally lessened within a week.
Researchers reported several benefits – like anti-cancer, lowers blood sugar, reduces blood pressure, assists in weight loss.
We believe that our product is beneficial for the mind too. A properly functioning digestive system prevents the deterioration of food by going stale or by fermentation. Excessive gas formation in the stomach, uneasiness after food, excessive farting, foul-smelling farting – all are pieces of evidence that the digestive system is not working properly. Rotten food generates harmful byproducts and a lot of gas. Good or bad, these will be picked by the bloodstream and will be distributed to the whole body. Some will find entry into the central nervous system (Brain).
Hence, a well-toned digestive system has a direct link with mental well-being.
Gut microbiota (gut bacteria) and its effect on human health and mind
Our vinegar promotes healthy gut bacteria.
In the human body, apart from its own living cells; a large number of tiny foreign living microorganisms reside in internal organs. These are called microbiota or microbiomes. They take birth, eat, live, replicate and die within our bodies. Microbiota consists of thousands of types of bacteria, fungi, viruses etc. The average human body consists of about 10 trillion live human cells, whereas the population of microbiota is about 10 times higher i.e. 100 Trillion.
Those living in the mouth, stomach, and intestine are generally called “Gut bacteria”.
Microbiota has direct and profound relation to one’s health and mind. The chemicals they secrete go to the bloodstream and enter all organs. Many find ways to the brain, thereby influencing our mental health. Hence, a healthy microbiota means a healthy person and a healthy mind.
Researchers found that improper gut bacteria cause diseases like:
- Type-II diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, obesity.
- Mental elements like anxiety, depression, and sleep disorder.
- Gut-related diseases alike– Inflammatory bowel diseases, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, colon cancer etc.
We sell raw vinegar without pasteurization. It contains live microorganisms. Our experience shows that our home-brewed vinegar promotes a healthy digestive system.
Raw vs pasteurised vinegar
Pasteurised vinegar does not contain live bacteria. Hence it has little effect in promoting healthy gut bacteria.
On the contrary, raw unpasteurized vinegar is probiotic and benefits the user by supplying useful microorganisms.
How to use vinegar
We recommend that you take about 1 cup of water. Add approximately one teaspoon (5ml) of raw vinegar. Drink soon after a major meal like breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Vinegar is highly sour (acidic), hence always dilute it with water while consuming it.
Do not use hot water, as it kills bacteria present in raw vinegar.
